I heart Skopje triptych

It is one of my proposals of the online magazine's Okno competition "Macedonia Square", (winning proposal here - [link]) meant to be a form of protest against what seems to be a complete architectural assault on the capital Skopje. Months ago, several students and young activists protesting the plans to build an orthodox church at the city's main square were assaulted by an angry fascist looking mob. In the near vicinity of the projected church, a supermassive monument of Alexander the Great is planned, marking a strange eclectic antiquity-meets-orthodoxy attempt of the Government to redefine the nation's identity.
